  The world has become so over sensitive that the momen any race is mentioned in a conversation, the person saying the name of the race is considered racist. As a result, my experience with this school doesn't go further than a phone call. I won a gold medal in the 1988 junior olympics in tampa florida for taekwondo & was trained by the south korean Kim family in staten island. Master kim (father of john, dave, robert & susan kim) had real authentic roots to kung-fu. He trained his 4 children who trained me under his instruction. That's why I was so good. I called Sheik's and asked if the master was oriental. The man on the phone immediately became defensive. I told him why I was asking & he claimed to understand, but continued speaking to me as if I was a racist. Then he told me there was "No Olympics" in 1988 & that I had my facts mixed up. I guess the etching on my gold medal is also confused. Instead of pursuing an argument I would've won if I chose to jump through all the hoops, I decided that my children would be better off learning kung-fu at a less racially sensative dojo. If you're afraid to say the name of a race & are afraid of offending ppl by saying the words oriental, asian, chinese, japanese, korean, taiwanese, etc......then this is the place for you. If you're going to get annoyed by stuck up self-righteous fearful wimps that yell "racism" the second the word black is heard, then look elsewhere. It's sad how far human beings haven't come. Weirdos!
